VIDEO TUTORIAL

A detailed process of this card you can watch here on this post or in HD at my YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

CARD DETAILS

I started by stamping three roses from Build-A-Flower: Rose.

For the pink rose I used Altenew Crisp Inks in shades: Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Purple Wine and Cosmic Berry+Ruby Red.

For the red rose I used Blush, Rouge, Crimson, Velvet, Grapevine, Espresso+Velvet.

For the leaves I used Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore, Mocha and Espresso Altenew Crisp inks.

I die cut the images using their coordinating dies.

Then, I added selective dry embossing onto Altenew Blush cardstock using my bone folder and scoring board and splattered it with white paint.

Next, I foam mounted the roses and the leaves on the card front using foam tape to give some dimension.

I stamped my sentiment from Birds of a Feather stamp set with clear embossing ink on a stripe of white cardstock. Then I heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder.

To finished my card I've added a few clear sequins and foam mounted my card into white card base.

Studio Katia | Valentines Day Watercolored Floral Card

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you a quick Valentine's day card, that I made with Blooming Bunch stamp set.

First, I prepare my watercolor paper with antistatic powder, and stamped the flowers with clear embossing ink, and then heat embossed with black embossing powder.

After that, I wet my paper with clean water into the embossing contour. Then I began to add the paint to the wet paper. The colors quickly and easily mix, on a wet paper inside the floral contour. This is a very simple way to colored a detailed floral image.

For the sentiment, I stamped a Happy Valentines Day in clear embossing ink on kraft cardstock and white heat embossed and foam mounted over my watercolored panel.

Finally, I added the watercolored panel to an Ivory card base and added few clear sequins to finished my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Altenew February 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway + VIDEO

Hello and Welcome to the Altenew February 2018 Release Blog Hop! I'm so excited to join this hop!!! I hope you came from amazing Svitlana Shayevich but if not, please check the full blog hop list in the bottom of this post.
I made four cards using new amazing stamp sets for today’s Blog Hop.

For my first card, I used gorgeous roses from Forewer and Always stamp set. I stamped the images with clear embossing ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed it with Altenew Golden Peach Crisp Embossing Powder and colored the images with Gansai Tambi watercolors.

A detailed process of this card you can watch here on this post or in HD at my YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

My second card with beautiful Birds of a Feather stamp set. I wanted to make the bird more realistic, so I stamped the layers of the bird and little branch with Altenew inks, and then colored with my polychromos pencils.

I especially like how realistic this branch looks. For the background, I blended  Altenew Rocky Shore inks on a white piece of paper and splattered with water.

My third card with beautiful Wings of Hope stamp set. I love the tender images from the set, and especially I love the sentiments.

I decided to make a patterned background with this stamps. First, I stamped the flowers and the leaves on a white piece of paper using Altenew Blush, Lavender Fields and Morning Frost inks.

And then, I stamped some images with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Altenew Golden Peach Crisp Embossing Powder.

My last card is absolutely clean and simple. I stamped stitched layers from Sewn with Love stamp set using Altenew Red Cosmos set of inks and green inks on a white piece of paper. After that, I've added some lines using bone folder and scoring board to make my card more interested look.
