Studio Katia and Chibitronics Collaboration

Hi everyone!

We are so excited to be partnering with our friends at Chibitronics for three days of fun and creative projects! Chibitronics makes awesome kits to allow you to add lights and power to your paper crafting projects! Be sure to check out their blog today for more creative ideas and tutorials by their talented designers!

I’m so happy to participate in the mini collaboration Studio Katia and Chibitronics! Today I have prepared card with luminous fairy flowers.

I’ve started by stamping out flower with memento inks on white card stock and used green and purple alcohol markers to color.

Next I’ve started working on my background. I wanted to create the glow effect, so around the flowers I used light markers to smoothly blur the background from center to edge so that the background seemed to glow from within.

Once my background was almost ready, i’ve added some splatters of silvery paint. I’ve assembled the chibitronics design and adhered the card to the black base.

For my Thank You sentiment, I wanted to create chipboard effect. I’ve die cut several layers out of black card stock and for the top layer I used white heat embossing. Glued all pieces together and used heavy block to press it down.
To finish off the card I also added a butterfly and sequins as the final accent.

To celebrate our collaboration this week, Chibitronics and Studio Katia will each be giving away a great prize to commenters on our blogs over the next 3 days. We will randomly select one winner to receive a $50.00CAD gift certificate to Studio Katia store. Chibitronics will be giving away a Starter Kit to a lucky winner over at Chibitronics Blog!

Winners will be announced on September 4th over at SK Blog.

Papertrey's Stamp-A-Faire 2017: Take Ten

Hello everyone! It's a very quick card for SAF 2017: TAKE TEN WARM UP CHALLENGE.

I stamped the flowers on the watercolor paper using black waterproof ink and quickly coloring them with Gansai Tambi. Then I slightly coloring the background with light beige paint (but it's hard to see on the photo) and added a sentiment.

To finished my card I've added some drops of glossy accent on the flowers as a final touch .

I used the flowers and a sentiment from Floral Sketches stamp set.

This color combo was my inspiration

Studio Katia Foxy Birthday card

Hi everyone! How do you like coloring on craft? I simply adore craft cards and today I have an autumn card but not on usual white card stock (because you know how I love white) but a pattern card on craft cardstock.

SUPPLIES:
Foxes | Clear Stamp Set
Birthday Lions | Clear Stamp Set

I used MISTI to stamp images from Foxes | Clear Stamp Set on to craft cardstock with Memento black ink. I wanted a crisp images and MISTI is perfect for that. I used Faber-Castell pencils to color everything and added highlights with white gel pen. The images now look more voluminous, and added white dots to the handles between the images as an accent.

Next for my sentiment I used Happy Birthday from Birthday Lions | Clear Stamp Set  I cut out a small banner with scissors out of gray cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment.
I used foam tape to adhere banner and attached my card to the white base.

Thank You and Have a lovely Day!

Studio Katia Birthday Card

Hello!  I’m so happy to be back here after a short summer break and show you a cute birthday card with Kobi the bear.
I’ve started by stamping all the images with Memento ink. I used COPIC markers to color the images and used coordinating dies to die cut the images. I just love seeing how they pop out of the die.

Then I made an easy tint with blue and green distress inks on white paper and sprinkled with water. Then I cut out a small banner, toned it with blue ink and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment by heat embossing using white embossing powder. Once my background dried, I’ve adhered all the elements onto the card with foam tape and attached it to the white card base.

Thank you all so much for stopping by!
