Soft Watercolored Flowers with Textured Background Pinkfresh Studio

Hello everyone! Today is my last post for Pinkfresh Studio as a design team member. It had been an amazing 1.5 year! I was happy to work with incredibly talented designers. And I am eternally grateful to Kinnari for an opportunity to be a part of such a great team!

Let’s move to the card. I've started by stamping the beautiful flower from Keep Going stamp set with Antique Linen distress ink onto piece of watercolor paper and watercolored the images using Pinkfresh Studio watercolors. To achieve the colors that I wanted, I mixed my own colors. I mixed some pink, red and yellow colors for the flowers, and green and a bit of yellow for the leaves.

Once my coloring was done, I splattered the images with the leftover paint and also with golden paint, before die cut them with coordinating dies.

For the background I’ve blended Meadow inks onto piece of watercolor paper and splattered it with the same inks mixed with water. Next, I placed coordinating stencil from Sweet Blooms set on top of my watercolored panel and added some embossing paste through the stencil. Then, I removed the stencil and sprinkled embossing paste with white pearl embossing powder. After it was dry naturally, I heated it with the heat gun and splattered my panel with golden paint.

Next, I adhered the flowers on top of my panel with foam tape and mounted my card onto light grey card base.

At last, I decided to add a few shiny branches for more interesting look. I’ve die cut them out of white cardstock using Leafy Branch die and sprinkled with chunky glitter on top of the clear glue before adhered them to my card.

For the sentiment, I stamped I Love You from Simply Sentiments - You stamp set onto a stripe of black cardstock with clear embossing inks and white heat embossed, before adding it to the card with foam tape. To finished my card I’ve added some sequins and pearls.

Hope you liked my card! Wishing you a happy holidays!
