Hello and Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Release Blog Hop, Day 2!
This latest release from Simon Says Stamp perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Today we celebrate with an inspirational blog hop and lots of giveaways and a free gift.
I made two cards to celebrate this Blog hop! For my first card I stamped the big heart and word LOVE from Ornate Love stamp set onto pink cardstock and white heat embossed it before die cutting. Then, I blended some pink inks onto white panel and splattered with the same inks.
I blended pink and red inks on top of the heart and LOVE for more depth and adhered on top of my panel with foam tape.
I white heat embossed the sentiment onto stripe of kraft cardstock and finished my card with sequins.
For my second card I used All My Heart stencil. I blended pink inks through the stencil onto white piece of paper and splattered it with pink ink and silver paint.
Next, I stamped LOVE with clear inks onto kraft cardstock and white heat embossed before die cutting. Then, I adhered it on top of my panel with foam tape.
I adhered my card onto pink card base with foam tape and finished my card with sequins.

The color blending and the softly stamped hearts are both beautiful ways of making the focal point very eye catching. I'm so happy to have found your blog. I have subscribed and I will be back!

ReplyDeleteGreat cards! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteYou did Ornate Love Stamp proud with these cards; absolutely love your backgrounds !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, your LOVE sentiment is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on both cards! Since I make only masculine Valentine's Day cards, I often look for a way to soften or replace the pink/red color combo we ladies love. I like the addition of kraft to your 2nd card, and think if added to a kraft card base, the card could pass as masculine, even with the ink blended hearts.
ReplyDeleteI really like the many different dies and stamps from the new SSS release and I like what you've made featuring them. :)
ReplyDeleteI’m swooning over the love card with the heart background. It’s just gorgeous.
