Hello everyone and Welcome to the Altenew September 2018 Washi Tape Release Blog Hop! I'm so excited to join this hop!!! You should have come from amazing Virginia Lu, but if not please start at the Altenew blog.
For my first card I used absolutely gorgeous Watercolor Nebula washi tape. I adhered a piece of washi tape onto white paper and trimmed the edges using my paper trimmer.
Then, I fussy cut the moon and adhered on top of my panel with foam tape. To finished my card, I've added some sparkling stars and drops.
For this card I used Painted Fantasy washi tape again. I decided to combined it with the Leaf Frame cover die. I adhered washi tape onto white panel and fussy cut the flowers.

Next, I heat embossed some stars from Best Dad stamp set using shimmering embossing powder and I also white heat embossed the sentiment.
Next, I heat embossed tne moon from To the Moon stamp set using Perissa embossing powder by Wow.
For my second card I used beautiful Painted Fantasy washi tape.
I adhered two layers of washi tape onto piece of white paper and trimmed the edges.
Next, I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Beautiful Heart stamp set and adhered banners on top of my card with foam tape.
It's so simple, but that background looks so beautiful.
Next, I die cut the Leaf Frame out of white cardstock and adhered it onto my background with washi tape. Then, I adhered the flowers with foam tape on top of my panel and finished the card with sparkling sequins. I heat embossed the sentiment with Altenew Copper Crisp embossing powder.
My last card is so simple. I adhered Pastel Strokes washi tape on top and on the bottom of white card base and trimmed the edges with scissors.

Then, I die cut the sentiment using Thinking of You die set and fussy cut the "Thinking of" part. Then, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto stripe of light grey cardstock and adhered it in the center of my card with foam tape.

ReplyDeleteThis washi tape, appears to make wonderful-looking backgrounds. I would like to know WHY, why use two layers of washi tape. Know that I've never used this before, nor had I even known about it, but thrilled that I will be involved in the washi tape revolution.

The 2nd one is so cool, it was so easy but yet so beautiful, no one would ever know you just put washi on that it looks like you painted it and the next card, OMG so GORGEOUS, I love how that looks so pretty and I love that you cut the flower out for to pop on the outside,the last one, how cool is that washi tape, I think that might be my favorite washi in the collection, I was hoping someone was going to do a card with it, you are the only one so far so Thank you so much for that it came out AMAZING!! You first card is so beautiful as well, I really adore that one also, might be my fav card, Thank You for a GREAT post, I really enjoyed it!!!

ReplyDelete(Sigh) I just love your cards!! Love the way you let the rainbow one shine with the simple, subtle greeting. The double layer of the floral washi looks gorgeous and doesn't look distracting like I would have imagined it would. It really adds so much dimension! The leaf frame with the washi peeking behind and elements in front is really awesome....like the flowers are exploding out from the frame. Love them all!!
