MFT Card Design Superstar: Coloring Virtuoso

Hello everyone! Here is my second card for My Favorite Things 2017 Card Design Superstar challenge. I'm entering in the Coloring Virtuoso category.

I’ve started by stamping the images from Mermazing stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar white paper and coloring them using Copic markers before die cutting with their coordinating dies.

Next I’ve started working on my background. I wanted to create the glow underwater effect. I used light markers to smoothly blur the background from center to edge so that the background seemed to glow from within.

Once my background was almost ready, i’ve added some splatters of silvery paint and some dots to add intersting texture.

Next, I cut out a small banner out of white cardstock using my paper trimmer and heat embossed the sentiment. I glued all the elements with foam tape and then mounted the panel on a white card base and added a few sequins as a final touch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s hop is dedicated to the new release from Studio Katia, I’ve created a Christmas card with gorgeous poinsettia from Merry Poinsettia stamp set.

To start I’ve stamped several poinsettias on Neenah Solar White paper with black Copic friendly ink. Next, I used coordinating dies to cut out masks for florals and on top of masking paper I’ve stamped berries and leaves.

Next, I've covered all the images with masking paper and blended the backfround with blue distress ink. Once the background was complete, I carefully removed the masking paper and started coloring the images with  Altenew Artist markers

Then, I added accents with white gel pen and used largest frame from Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames set. I added Be Merry sentiment in gold embossing on vellum and adhered it to the card.
To finish my card I've added new Iridescent Crystals and Majestic Confetti. And finally, I foam mounted it into my card base.

I am giving away a $35 CAD gift certificate to the Studio Katia Store. I will randomly choose a winner from the comments left on this post by 22nd September 2017 at 23.59. I will announce the winner on the 23rd September 2017. The giveaway is open worldwide.

STUDIO KATIA FALL+WINTER PREVIEW: THANKSGIVING SHAKER CARD

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to share with you my Thanksgiving shaker card for Studio Katia preview week!

To start I’ve stamped the pumpkins from giving Thanks stamp set with memento ink, and coloured with COPIC markers in fall colors. I used coordinating dies and then I toned white card base with orange distress ink and splattered with water. I cut the base to square.

From the scraps I die cut the Thanks sentiment, the sentiment also comes with outline so I die cut outline out of white card-stock and adhered it all together.

Then i die cut the shake base out of the new Dotted Patterns: Fancy Square which measures 4.25x4.25 inches and added the new 3mm sequins Iridescent Veil.
I've adhered it all together and the card is complete.

3MM Iridescent Veil Sequins

Thanks for stopping by!

Всем привет! Я очень рада сегодня показать открытку-шейкер ко дню благодарения которую я сделала для превью нового релиза Studio Katia.

Studio Katia and Chibitronics Collaboration

Hi everyone!

We are so excited to be partnering with our friends at Chibitronics for three days of fun and creative projects! Chibitronics makes awesome kits to allow you to add lights and power to your paper crafting projects! Be sure to check out their blog today for more creative ideas and tutorials by their talented designers!

I’m so happy to participate in the mini collaboration Studio Katia and Chibitronics! Today I have prepared card with luminous fairy flowers.

I’ve started by stamping out flower with memento inks on white card stock and used green and purple alcohol markers to color.

Next I’ve started working on my background. I wanted to create the glow effect, so around the flowers I used light markers to smoothly blur the background from center to edge so that the background seemed to glow from within.

Once my background was almost ready, i’ve added some splatters of silvery paint. I’ve assembled the chibitronics design and adhered the card to the black base.

For my Thank You sentiment, I wanted to create chipboard effect. I’ve die cut several layers out of black card stock and for the top layer I used white heat embossing. Glued all pieces together and used heavy block to press it down.
To finish off the card I also added a butterfly and sequins as the final accent.

To celebrate our collaboration this week, Chibitronics and Studio Katia will each be giving away a great prize to commenters on our blogs over the next 3 days. We will randomly select one winner to receive a $50.00CAD gift certificate to Studio Katia store. Chibitronics will be giving away a Starter Kit to a lucky winner over at Chibitronics Blog!

Winners will be announced on September 4th over at SK Blog.

Papertrey's Stamp-A-Faire 2017: Take Ten

Hello everyone! It's a very quick card for SAF 2017: TAKE TEN WARM UP CHALLENGE.

I stamped the flowers on the watercolor paper using black waterproof ink and quickly coloring them with Gansai Tambi. Then I slightly coloring the background with light beige paint (but it's hard to see on the photo) and added a sentiment.

To finished my card I've added some drops of glossy accent on the flowers as a final touch .

I used the flowers and a sentiment from Floral Sketches stamp set.

This color combo was my inspiration

Thank you all for stopping by! :)

Studio Katia Foxy Birthday card

Hi everyone! How do you like coloring on craft? I simply adore craft cards and today I have an autumn card but not on usual white card stock (because you know how I love white) but a pattern card on craft cardstock.

SUPPLIES:
Foxes | Clear Stamp Set
Birthday Lions | Clear Stamp Set

I used MISTI to stamp images from Foxes | Clear Stamp Set on to craft cardstock with Memento black ink. I wanted a crisp images and MISTI is perfect for that. I used Faber-Castell pencils to color everything and added highlights with white gel pen. The images now look more voluminous, and added white dots to the handles between the images as an accent.

Next for my sentiment I used Happy Birthday from Birthday Lions | Clear Stamp Set  I cut out a small banner with scissors out of gray cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment.
I used foam tape to adhere banner and attached my card to the white base.

Thank You and Have a lovely Day!
